I am originally from Coyhaique, a tiny town in the fathomless Chilean Patagonia and I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Centre for Smart Infrastructure and Construction at the University of Cambridge.

Smart Infrastructure is the result of combining physical infrastructure with digital infrastructure, providing improved information to enable better decision making, faster and cheaper. At the centre of this research agenda is the urgent response to the climate crisis, to avoid runaway climate change. Smart Infrastructure can help engineers to deliver and manage a resilient built environment that utilises fewer resources and less carbon for its construction and operation. My research explores new possibilities for smart infrastructure, where structural health monitoring, data science, structural engineering and cyber infrastructure coalesce.

I'm passionate by coding, visualising and building stuff, and statistics aficionado.
